Balance Sheet Health Check

Price: $200 (ex GST) per provider

Through analysis of your 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 General Purpose Financial Reports, this report builds upon the 2006 CAP Ratio Analysis (conducted by Bentleys in conjunction with the Department of Health and Ageing) and will provide a top-line assessment of your financial 'health' compared to others. It will also provide a snapshot of performance across the industry.

Customised Performance Report

Price: 2009 Participants – using data already submitted: $50 per service (ex GST)
For non- participating services - $400 per service or 3 services for $1000 (ex GST)

Following collation of your P+L and other benchmarking data, we process your information and deliver a report that provides a customised comparison of how your service is performing against national and state averages and pinpoints areas of under/over performance. This report will indicate exactly where money can be saved in future planning.

Cost Centre Reports

Price: $300 per Cost Centre (ex GST)

A tailored report is available to provide national and state averages for the cost centres that are pertinent to you. These reports will provide you with a per resident per day average figure, with comparisons for metropolitan vs non-metropolitan facilities.

Care and Nursing Costs

includes chemist supplies (including oxygen and items purchased from pharmacy); contract trainers and contract therapists; craft and activities supplies; incontinence aids and kylies (including disposal); unit dose medication packaging system; care and therapy staff wages (including agency staff costs, Director of Nursing, Director of Care and care managers).

Cleaning Costs

includes cleaning contract (including waste disposal);cleaning materials; paper products; cleaners/domestics wages.

Laundry Costs

includes laundry contracts; laundry materials; laundry staff wages.

Catering Costs

includes food contracts; food costs; kitchen staff wages.

Property Costs

includes fuel; electricity; gas; provision for major repairs and maintenance; rates and taxes; replacements (including cutlery, crockery, linen, mattresses); repairs and maintenance - buildings, plant and equipment, furniture and fittings, lawns, grounds and gardens; maintenance/gardeners wages.

Administration Costs

includes accounting; administration sundries (including advertising, legal costs, licence fees, bank charges, subscriptions, security firms, papers/journals, computer software, memberships, books/publications); audit fees (financial and accreditation); insurance; management charges; head office fees; service bureau; telephone, postage and stationery (including printing); travel, entertainment and vehicles; unallocated items; wages for agency support staff, clerical/admin staff and support staff managers.
